    1. Hmm how about “bright eyes”? Cause clear eyes has the connotation of “seeing something with clear eyes”/”seeing something clearly,” right? But I think this phrase means more something like “with enthusiasm in their eyes,” from what I understand. I hope that is helpful! Uh even though for me all I can think of is “Total Eclipse of the Heart”…
